The members are Tablo 타블로 Mithra Jin 미쓰라 진 DJ Tukutz DJ 투컷 The group is known for combining different styles of hip hop, along with different musical genres and collaborations on each album. The group has been on hiatus since 2009 whilst members served individual mandatory military service. Epik High was relatively unknown early in their career due to hip-hop’s lack of popularity in South Korea. Their success began with the release of their second album, titled High Society. Upon the success of their third album, Swan Songs, released in late 2005, Epik High has become one of the most popular hip-hop groups in South Korea. In February 2019, Epik High officially signed with talent agency, WME Entertainment for their overseas activities.
